The SMS Directory Bot is an application that tries to connect an SMS (text) sender with the appropriate person in a company using information from the PBX directory.
The SMS Directory Bot is a FREE application we provide to introduce our customers to the concept of Business SMS. All you need to do to activate the Directory Bot is to send a request to support@voradian.com or submit a ticket to Customer Service to activate and route the SMS service for any DID in your account. Typically, we recommend using this service with your main phone number that's routed to your Auto Attendant.
There is a nominal monthly recurring charge for enabling SMS service on your voice phone number. The SMS service has no bearing on your voice calls since they are separate channels within the same number.
